Thankyou To everyone for the masses of encouragement and tips on going running on my own and at my own pace.
I think I may have completed run1 although I probably missed 70-90 seconds of running because I couldn’t go again BUT I did the rest of it. For me that is an achievement and I went out on my own (thought I would combust) ... and it was not that bad !! I felt definitely that people would stare at me but logically probably no more than usual.
I definitely really struggled and god knows if 9 weeks is enough but I’m happy for now. I’m also going to contact my doctor because of an old cuneiform fracture my feet are a bit dodgy and my calves just seize up a crazy amount otherwise I wouldn’t have stopped so much.
thankyou again for all the support, haven’t felt this good in a while.

Great job... you’re on your way to glory. 9 weeks is a guide, some do each week in 6 days, some do it longer... doesn’t really matter as long as you’re on it.
Yay! You're off the couch and well on the way to a healthier life 😀 Week 1 run 1 was definitely the hardest for me, genuinely thought I was going to have a heart attack. You'll be amazed how quickly you get stronger though, so good luck with the next one! 👏👍
