Good morning π I followed all your advice and took it slow this morning.....or so I thought!! At the end of my 28 minutes I felt so happy I kept going and managed 5km in 32 minutes. Itβs mind over matter, I went into it feeling relaxed and am amazed. Thank you everyone for helping me relax. ππ»

Well done Olney - you smashed it!
Wow, 5k in 32 minutes is an amazing pace! Time to try a parkrun ππββοΈπ
Iβm thinking I might brave it. It would be great to run with other people even if they are all ahead of me π
My parkrun is definitely one of the easier ones but yesterday I did a PB of 31β55 β (so pretty much the same time as you) and when the official results came out I was amazed to see there were MORE people behind me than ahead of me! No way youβll be anywhere near last running 32β.
Absolute WOW, Olney! That is a fabulous achievement. ππ Well done you! ππππππ
That is incredible! Very proud of you. Needless to say it is also our brain we are training... for grandeur!!!
Well done your running 5K with enthusiasm and a sense of dIsbelief at the same time. I know the feeling as I am in week 6. If anyone had told me that I would take up running ππΎββοΈ, I would have laughed at them as I had much preferred walking. However, I am now a converted or dare I say -a runner and like you really positive about what I am achieving by taking it slow. Thanks for your encouraging post. Well doneππ»
