What's happened here?

Anyone got any idea what has happened to my pace graph? I certainly didn't stop during that middle bit. The little bit that's missing further along is where I turned round, so fair enough, I might expect to see a gap, but that big gap just before 10 minutes?

Sometimes GPS gets lost. Not uncommon. It doesn't usually squawk to tell you there's a problem and gets the signal back pretty fast. Happens a lot if you're near trees. Or anything at all really. Technology eh?

You reckon that's a lost signal then? Doesn't it usually fill in the gaps, and show a big hike in speed just afterwards? I was going for a PB, and was quite a bit short, I guess Ill have lost some time here too?

This is the first time this has happened with this watch, I've had it for about six months...

Different gadgets do different things I suppose. My Polar just occasionally drops out. Minor irritant for me, but annoying if you were after a PB :-(

I have a route that goes under a bridge and it does that as it loses it gps signal. Could that of happened?

No I don't think so, I see exactly that regularly in Cambridge when I go under a bridge, you can usually see where the watch has made up the difference with a big spike in pace. For some reason this time my pace went down to something like 14 ins per km...

I shall have to do this route again.... XX
