Sound advice!! Probably best to get a gait analysis done at the same time, so you get ones that are right for your feet...

Haha that’s just what I was going to say, oh along with “have you tried gaffer tape and silicon sealant”. Seriously though, be kind to your feet, get some new running shoes :)

Where is the hole in your trainers? It may indicate a postural or biomechanical issue with your running. Maybe it is in the sole, in which case you've maybe just worn them out. But anywhere else - on the heel or uppers - could be revealing another issue.

Definitely take the old ones to show when you have gait analysis, and this will help the assistant.

My new running shoes already have a big hole... fortunately it’s where your foot goes, so I’m not too worried 😂

There's a FAQ post called 'which shoes' . Check the pinned post with all the FAQs! But the basics are - go to a running shop and get tailored advice for you :)
