Trainers in Lincoln?

Hey Guys,

I've decided to treat myself to a pair of running shoes if I make it to the end of week 5 (on wk3 now).

I was just wondering if there's anyone in Lincolnshire who has already bought running shoes and had gait analysis - where's the best place to go?

I have heard about The Lincolnshire Runner but it looks like they're closed from 20th May-6th June (I'm running out of time - no pun intended.)

Any advice greatly received. Thanks.

I was just going to suggest THe Lincolnshire RUnner as I need to head there and have my gait done too - heard they are moving to a new shop a bit further down the same road. Sorry can;t be more help.

I had gait analysis done at The Lincolshire Runner. Bought trainers from them too. Top service.

Thanks andystev it's good to have positive feedback - having never bought running shoes before I wanted to check they were good people to buy from...lol...I checked and the nearest Sweatshop is Nottingham, suppose it's not too far away, but I think I'll stick with my locals - would rather an independent's tills were ringing.

The gait analysis is free so no ones tills will be ringing until you purchase the trainers! You can shop anywhere once your gait is measured and you know what you are looking for so, you could still shop local ;)

Lol...that's great, but I'd have to travel 30 miles just to get to sweatshop ;)

There is a shop in grantham that does it as my friend had her done at the weekend, i think it's in the george shopping centre.

So I went to the Lincolnshire Runner yesterday and bought some proper shoes. They were amazing, advice and service. I think I tried like 10 pairs on. Been out this morning for w4 r1 and I didn't want to take them off they are sooo comfy.
