So I had foolishly decided to do a park run today despite only being on week 4 run 2. It was midday and warm but I did it! I even went slightly off course on 1 lap meaning I did 5.4km but in 37 mins 🙈. The demons have gone. I can do this!!

Wow, great time! Even better outfit!

I actually don't think it's foolish at all, but rather pretty wise to do a parkrun in the middle of the program. It seems like people who graduate or are nearing graduation and attempt a 5K race or parkrun put a ton of pressure on themselves. I feel like knowing ahead of time you're going to have to walk some portions actually sets you up for feeling pretty darn good at the end.

It’s a team of 30 people that do the park run route on Saturday at midday every week, many in fancy dress 😛
