This one was a struggle, I’m not sure if it’s because I’m still recovering from the last one or if I had the wrong shoes on but by the second minute of running I was already in pain and struggling. I had to cheat a little bit and keep pausing to extend the walks, partly because I didn’t feel ready and partly because crossings were not my friend today (during my last run it all lines up perfectly).
Do by the end I was a painful sweaty mess but despite that I do feel pretty good. I’m all too tempted to sit down but I’m staying on my feet for the moment.
I’ve had a pint of water, some yoghurt, a handful of cereal and a spoonful of peanut butter, hoping that should replenish me. So am I recovering right? I’m literally figuring it out as I go.
Next run is Monday. Since I only got two runs in this week and it’s taking some getting used to I think I’m going to reset and have next week be week 1. This can just be a test run - pun very much intended.

You’re recovering ok for sure... I’m just having my pint of water right now... somebody seems to have put hops, yeast and sugar in it at some point, never mind.
You can carry on... so run 3 because you’ve done it twice, then try week 2. It’s a whole minute of extra running! Less reps for 30 seconds longer, but also with longer breaks... opportunity to amaze yourself.
I’m looking forward to trying it but not as much as I’m looking forward to being able to do it. If I do struggle for a while I might do week 1 twice but we’ll see how it goes.
I approve of your recovery drink, all natural organic ingredients so it must be good for you.
