I did it! My first 5k! I never believed I could actually do it, it’s not in 30 minutes but I honestly stopped caring, I just want to enjoy running and getting better by having perseverance!
I actually was not really tired but had to stop because my knee was hurting- which never happened before- and didn’t want to push myself!
Any idea of what it might be?

Wow, that’s pretty fast for a first 5k, and to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised to hear you have a few aches and pains afterwards. Have a day or two of rest and hopefully your knee will settle down. But most of all - we’ll done!
Yay! Well done! Hitting the 5k mark feels great doesn’t it! Take it easy on that knee, maybe a couple of rest days doing some knee stretches and don’t try and do too much too soon. 😊
Well done, good time. I think it’s normal to ache at our limits... so far you’ve trained to 30 minutes worth of endurance, you went over 20% longer. Pace is good for first 5k too, so you should expect a little reminder from your body that it hasn’t done that before. Rest and then do it again, the body will get used to it!
