I'm in exactly the same boat as you! Just finished run 2 week 5 and never thought I'd get this far! Next run is for 20 mins though...seems a big step up 🤪 have managed everything so far though so bring it on!!
You will def make it. Against all odds and I’m more surprised than anyone I am in week 9!!! It’s a struggle but manageable and the smug feeling is unbeatable. Was terrified of running without stopping - don’t panic, take it slowly and listen to Sarah Millican. Hilarious x
Well done! I'm so excited at the prospect of completing the programme, although still not entirely convinced I can do it. Looking forward to each run now though instead of dreading it so it's got to be a good sign 😆
How did you get on with run 2? I was really chuffed when I completed the first runs of week 5 but am a bit nervous for the second run tomorrow, can’t begin to imagine how I am going to manage 8 mins, let alone twenty mins on Friday eeekkk !
Hi all, bit of an update, managed Run 2 - a full 8 mins - what is going on !! I found being on the phone chatting actually helped wile the time away although not sure I'm going to get a chatting companion for every run..
And therein lies my next hurdle - I haven't done Run 3 because I foolishly decided to decorate my living room and spent morn till late evening sanding, painting, repainting etc etc all week !! Didn't find time to fit the runs in and was shattered from all the physical work ( used to sitting behind a desk ).
Got a feeling it may be wise to start Week 5 again and build up because I really can't see myself doing the 20 minutes. No worries , where there's a will there's a way !!!
