Newbie inspired by the wife!!!

Hi

I've just completed my 1st week which I found not too bad.

I've always played a lot of sports growing up and "pubs league football" up til about 10 years ago and have a physical job but over the last 15 year's I've gained weight and gone middle aged.

The wife started doing this and has done brilliantly and has now almost completed her 9 weeks. She has inspired me to have a go.

I have a knackered ankle and knee and so far they are holding up without too much trouble but I'm expecting some aches haha.

Week 2 starts tomorrow! 😃

A huge well done.. and to Mrs S too, for getting you started... keep it slow and steady and maybe try these out to keep that knee in fine fettle:)

Welcome. Good job on week one, it’s not easy to start this. You have inspiration right there in the house, which is great. Good luck, and also to the wife in closing this out.

Well done you! Lots of water and keep it slow is the best advice I've been given. What an inspirational wife you have 😉 keep up the enthusiasm 😘
