Spent 48 hours since run 2 thinking "20 minutes non stop, really?" Got out this morning and yes really. Have faith all you doubters, you can if I can πππ
W5r3 nailed it πππ: Spent 48 hours since run... - Couch to 5K
W5r3 nailed it πππ
Brilliant well done - it seems to be a big step up doesn't it - I'm doing it tomorrow - feeling ok but panic may set in when the alarm goes offπ
I am doing this tomorrow and am very scared! Haha! Your post has given me hope!
Well done! π you must feel great x
Well done!
I was elated after doing Week 5 Run 3, I really didnβt think I'd be able to do it, and was so thrilled when I did!
So reassuring to know that the plan works π
You must feel so proud, well done.
I did W5R3 yesterday. . I was getting quite tense thinking about it as well. But I did it and it felt fantastic. If you think you can. . .you can!!
Congratulations! I agree that the first 20 min. run is a real landmark. I was very unsure about it too and was really happy when it turned out OK. Just did W8R3 and I can't tell you how impressed I am by this programme.
Well done! Iβve just started Week 3 and the thought of running for 20 minutes feels impossible right now...!!
Yes, you really can!! My W5R3 was over 3 years ago now...yes I still remember it clearly (and yes, I am still running!) From here on in it really is a mental thing, so just trust in the programme and kick any annoying gremlins to the kerb! A few weeks and you will have graduated! π
Oh, well done! You're inspiring me to keep going. Good luck with week 6 and beyond!!! ππ
Thank you. Me inspiring anybody, who would have thought it? I think you're on week 5 this week? Don't let the gremlins get you, you've come this far (over half way). To infinity and beyond π©βπ
That first 20 minute run is sooo awesome!!
I was buzzing for days!
I can remember how hard the 3 to 5 minute gap was so to accomplish the 20 is great
Well done you.
20 minutes non stop really!!!
You got week 6... great words to stop others doubting, carry them forward with you.
I start week 5 Monday, and Iβm bricking it for W5R3, donβt know if I can do that length of time, at the moment it seems impossible!
Well done you for nailing it! ππ»
Oh, well done! You must be buzzing. It's my next run and seems like a big step up.
Well done. I start W5 on Monday, with R3 scheduled for next Saturday. Thanks for the inspiration.
There's so stopping you after you get through the first 20mins.....that really is a landmark run for most!!!πͺ
Well done on smashing it!!!πππ
A word of caution.....week6 is notorious for catching one out....when you're back to doing intervals of run-walk-run.
Just take it in your stride and you'll be fine.
In the meantime, enjoy your fantastic achievement and a well deserved rest day!!! π
Thank you. I've been out walking this morning plotting my route for tomorrow trying to avoid roads during the run sections. Thanks also for the warning, part of me is already wondering if I can push a little harder. My sensible head tells me "Stop being stupid, it's not a race, just make sure you finish without hurting yourself"
Great effort... and a good motivation as we approach that run. Thanks, and well done.
