So you should be Alex... it’s hard to get to the start line and nail that first run and then come back for more. Keep up the great work.

Well done on your first 2 runs. That’s really good. Keep going. You can do this. It’s an amazing feeling as you complete each run and notice how you are improving. Good luck with run 3.

Well done - welcome to the group! I think many if not most people here also hated exercise. But the programme really works. If you feel it's getting too tough slow right down. Really - that is the key - learning to run more slowly. Keep posting to say how you're getting on. 👍

Well done for getting started, that is the hardest part of this app.

The rest will be challenging and you may struggle some weeks, but keep going amd enjoy your journey.

I am on Week 4, second time around. It’s a great programme. The app (I hv Laura as my coach at the moment but I had Sarah Millican the first time round) and this forum are a good combo. Sustaining exercise can be the hard part for me and it’s good to come on the forum and just say ‘help’ when/if you get stuck. Mojo (lack of), busy life and mental gremlins can get in the way and most of us need help at some time to get past them. Good luck and enjoy the ride! (I did a run round a motorway service area once - not ideal but ticked a box at the time 🤨.)

Good for you! You’ll love the programme as you’ll be amazed how quickly your body adapts to running!

Go smash it and good luck!

Not sure the work boots will do you any favours alex10756. In vest in the kit as a reward for what you’ve achieved so far. Keep posting so that we can support you.

Lol at the work boots Alex, and huge congratulations, you did what you had to do to get started. I put off starting for ages, and I felt so great when I finished the first run. Good luck on your next run.
