Did First run last night, was doing the 5 minute warm up thinking this is easy I could skip a few. Struggled to get to the end of a few of the 1 min runs!

Welcome and well done for starting. Don’t be disheartened that you struggled I think W1R1 is the hardest. My daughter and I felt like giving up after the 1 minute run but stuck at it and now I’m on W7.

I was similarly surprised at how hard running for 60 seconds was at the start - it made me realise how unfit I was!
Keep at it - you’ll get stronger and be able to run for longer each week.
Also I found running 8 times was really tough mentally because it feels never ending. I did wk3 run 1 on Saturday and psychologically it's easier as there are only 4 runs (even though they are longer).
