Completed W7 around the rowing lake in Munich again. Whoa it’s warm even at 6am! No issues I’m glad to say, but I really should learn and dowse myself in bug spray before heading out. I’m obviously delicious and I attract a veritable swarm. 😩
Anyway, no more 25 minuters. Let’s see how 28 minutes feels on Monday!
Happy running folks! 👍🏻🏃♀️😀🐌❤️🐢

You're nearly there.....that podium is well and truly in sight now!!!
These bugs and gremlins along the way......doses of bug spray and gremlin spray definitely the flavour of this journey.....lol!!!!
We had thunderstorms last night so cooled down a bit......but as you say, even crazy o'clock sometimes is not early enough to catch it before it gets warm.....
So glad you're really smashing it even while on holiday....now that's grit coupled with enthusiasm, for sure!!!
Thank you for your encouragement! I realised when I started the programme that I’d be away for weeks 7 and 8, but I was determined not to let it get in the way!
Yes, maybe bug spray would help with pesky gremlins too! I shall apply liberally on Monday!!
I did the same calculation....except when I started I had just counted weeks....but as I've been doing alternate days.....I'm ahead of where I thought I would originally be......so instead of Week 7 & 8 while on holiday.....it looks like I'm set to graduate whilst away.....!!!
But.....I'm simply focussing on one run at a time......very aware that life gets in the way or IC could find me.......hence, not thinking much about it yet.
But like you, I plan on continuing whatever week I'm on 😊
You have just inspired me in that respect!!! 👍 Thank you!!!
Those extra 3 minutes is only about 10% more than the 25 minutes in week 7, whereas going from 20 to 25 was a 20% increase. Hopefully, you'll hardly notice those extra 3 minutes – it's just one more song on the playlist.
Fantastic to smash week 7 on holiday - well done despite the pesky bugs. I was due to run week 5 on holiday in Devon a few weeks ago but the only accessible place to run early morning was in a field next to the cottage we were in so I decided to repeat week 4 as I didn’t fancy a 20 min run around an undulating field. It worked for me but has put an extra week on the programme which I guess in the grand scheme of things isn’t a problem. Good luck for week 8 😊🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️👍
Thank you! I’m certainly very happy with how it went!
I was slightly worried about being away from the comfort zone of my regular running route I must admit. But this rowing lake is picture perfect and flat so I couldn’t have wished for a better place. We’re moving on tomorrow, so hopefully I can complete W8R1 and R2 before heading home. I’ll find somewhere I’m sure (just not an Alp please!!)
Thank you! Yes I must admit I’m looking forward to running in the relative cool. It sounds like the weather has broken back home so hopefully I can do W9 and graduate in comfort in a couple of weeks! 😀
I’m not home until next weekend - hope it stays coolish for a few more (selfish) weeks! If not, I’ll be continuing my new habit of getting up ridiculously early! 😀🏃♀️
Thanks Jay! Yes the programme is very clever and it really does prepare you doesn’t it? Still can’t believe how only a few short weeks ago I used to hate running and now I totally love it!
Hope you’re enjoying your new challenges too! 😀🏃♀️🏃♂️😀
