Week 6 is history!

They say that sweat is your body fat crying; well mine has sobbed its heart out. W6R3 was a bit tough at the start but I settled in and it wasn't until 5 minutes from the end that I felt a niggle in my right calf. Luckily it didn't get any worse and oh my word, before I knew it the 25 minutes were up. Perhaps decorating, moving furniture and cleaning are not actually the best pre-run activities! We live and learn. Looking forward to my 2 rest days before tackling W7. I find it hard to believe that I'm 2/3 of the way through the programme but even harder to believe I can run for nearly half an hour. The advice and support on here has been invaluable so thank you for encouraging me to keep at this running lark. 😊 P'S my face is still glowing 4 hours later!

Brilliant Hidden - you've had a taste of w7 and you've nailed it!

Enjoy your rest days, and then you're into the home straight of c25k :)

Yep really well. Been celebrating my sons wedding then on holiday in Cornwell which has the worst internet ever. However some lovely, but very hilly runs through bluebell woods.oh and put our house on the market too!

Wow... well done you! On to week 7! you are doing so well! Slow and steady and enjoy these last weeks!

Yes, sometimes, we forget what else we have been doing and that we are slightly more mature runners!! My downfall is often gardening jobs, humping pots and potting compost bags around etc...then wonder why I feel a tad tired!

I run early morning, so I have usually had a good sleep, but I still feel it, on some runs!

Will look forward to your post next week! :)
