Rain?

Morning all. I’m disappointed as it’s pouring it down just now. This is the only time I can run today until tomorrow evening. So, shall I run in torrential rain or wait?

It's up to you Evie75, some people love running in the rain, other's like me wait until the rain goes off, during my time on C25K I never ran in the rain, waited until it went off. Perhaps the reason for that is that I wear glasses and they steam up when the wet stuff comes down. A little rain does no harm, if it's like a thunderstorm, then better wait until the rain goes off.

Not sure if you went... but if not, if it is safe, not too slippery and you have a cap and lightweight jacket, head out... slow and steady

I went!! Rained until half way through run, then it stopped and the sun came out!! That’s W6R2 done....

Good for you. As long as it’s safe I’d go. A while ago I’d have taken that as an excuse not to go and allowed that to throw off my routine. I didn’t have rain this morning just the after effects so a little slippy

Think I’m going end up running in the rain tonight. I always wait for my 2 year old to go bed and then head out for my run. Will be my first time running in the rain. Why not... new challenge... good luck with it
