Wahoo! I'm so so proud. 230th out of 320. 63rd female, 10th in my age group, 5k park run in......(drum roll please).....31.54 !!!!! Cannot believe how bloody proud I am lol. Maybe the new life on my own will turn out ok after all

Cool... A year ago I had no idea I had a Saturday morning 5k within a mile of my front door. Now although injured and only having been twice I can’t wait to get back there. Running it is still a while off, but it’s a great use of a Saturday morning.

Great that you can take your huge achievement onwards and that buzz should never end. You’re an inspiration to all, and I can look at your journey and see that I have no usable excuses for not doing this. I’m fairly driven anyway, but on low days I look at my role models and pick my ass up. Thanks for being one.

Hey LittleMaz I’m a Burnley runner too, did Parkrun 2 weeks ago at week 6 r3 but have decided it was too soon and waiting TIL I graduate (right for me not judging anyone else!) I’m middle aged, overweight and run generally in the am and often at Towneley in the am with a cute Labrador so say hi !
