I was planning to do my second week 1 run this morning after one rest day but I didn't check what the weather was doing. I'm feeling disappointed but it should be clearly up by this evening so I'll head out then instead.
It's raining!! : I was planning to do my second... - Couch to 5K
It's raining!!

Run in the rain π it'll be refreshing! π
Yes I suppose it will be. I think I'll wait until I'm more comfortable with the running first. I'm only three days into my first week so I have four more days to choose from and I'd rather feel as comfortable as possible right now.
Absolutely! X
(I'm not actually sure I'd run in the rain either, but I also know that if I was supposed to and I put it off, I'd risk always putting it off! But I'm the worlds worst procrastinator!)
Running in the rain is one of life's great pleasures. Go on. You won't shrink.

I agree - running in the rain is fine once you get going. And you feel even more proud of yourself when you get backπ

Embrace the rain.. I think I am taller since completing C25K in 2015... the rain helped me grow
Or maybe my whole posture improved ?

I've never run in the rain, so while you are all on the subject, can I ask a silly question?
Do wet runners wear any head gear? How do you control temperature?
Thanks

Compared to some of the weather I ran in early this year I don't mind the rain now! it's better than the ice and snow I found it better to mostly stick to the days I had in mind rather than miss days due to weather.

Quite like running in the rain - but only if it starts once I'm out.
I quite like running in the rain but don't if it is absolutely bucketing down. I hope the rain eased off for you to go out for your planned run π
l love the rain,l also like running against a strong wind.l suppose what l'm saying is,l was born and brought up in this country and l just except the weather, even if l am cold and wet after running.lf you procrastinate to often, you will stop yourself from achievements.Good luck π on your future runs,Stevy.

I did week one run 3 in the rain , we have a dog so have to go out in the rain with her , my hubby was so shocked I went to run in rain tho cos he thought I'd give up after run one !! Off out for wk two run one in a bit in the rain !! I'm hooked already !!

Just did a run in the rain, go for it! It's revitalising!
I love running in the rain. I find that it helps me stay a little cooler whilst I run which is a great help. I work on the principle that I'm going to get in the shower when I get home and my kit is going in the washing machine so a bit of water won't make much difference. Sadly I've found I don't shrink when wet so can't use it as a weight loss programme!
I got caught out a few days ago when as I stepped outside the door it started snowing/sleeting. However as I'd made the effort to get changed to go running I just put a different jacket and off I went. It was exhilarating and a bit daft at the same time.
