Is your wife stretching before she starts the sessions?

I found if I didn’t stretch my muscles well before each session my legs ached afterwards - although you’re only in the early stages of the plan it’s worth spending a few minutes before each session gently stretching your legs/back/sides (if you’re not already 😁)

Only one more run then you’ve completed the first week, well done!
