Out at 6.45 this morning for my final run of week 6. Did my stretches and warm up at home and then out for the 5 min warm up walk with Mr Smooth. He had every faith in me just like the lovely ladies and gents on here. Of course the first 5 mins was tough as my breathing was a bit erratic as always. Into the second 5 and it was calming down. Was waiting for MJ to say second 5 done and thought the app had turned off when he said I’d completed 12.5 mins! Wow, this was going well. By now I was running on air, I had forgotten about the breathing and it was like I was walking. Obviously, I was only going about as fast as my snail friends. After taking all the advice about taking it slow and steady I was so comfortable and was enjoying the world around me. My mind drifted off and thought about lots of things and the running wasn’t in my mind. At the 20 minute mark I felt so good, I knew I wasn’t going to give up now. The last minute I took the advice of MJ and picked up the pace to finish. What a run. I feel on top of the world. Can’t wait to do it all again 🙋🏻🙌🏻🏃🏻♀️ As MJ says, I’m officially a runner. Unbelievable!
