25 mind running

Like a lot of people here I hadn’t run since my last year of senior schooling 1971 so it was a bit daunting. But this morning at 6.30 I did my first 25 min run and even managed to up the pace on the final 60 seconds. I am surprised and very proud of myself. It’s a brilliant way to get running. Love reading the comments they are helpful and supportive. Thanks to all who post. Happy Tuesday.

Well done! I feel the same, (although my school days were a little bit more recent) especially when I start galloping for a minute or so at the end!

Me too (1972!). It’s absolutely amazing. I graduated 2 weeks ago and am continuing with the 30 min runs. Only managed 5k once at a park run and that took 37 min but heh - were running!! Well done you.
