First run in nearly two weeks after niggly thigh became too noisy to ignore. Kept it really slow and steady and then slowed it down some more. New Brooks shoes fitted like gloves and felt as light as a feather. Thigh complained for first 10 minutes but then seemed to pipe down a little. My breathing started to go haywire at about 17 minutes and I nearly went into panic mode but managed to slow it down again.
Thought I might need to stop but I did the 30 minutes and 3.8k, Iβll take that after 2 weeks off.
It was really humid out there even at 6:30am and I was dripping and doing my wet veg impression again π¦π π When I got home I asked my eight year old, βdo I look like a beetroot?β βYes,β she replied, βbut beetroots arenβt sweaty are they??β Outta the mouths of babes as they say! π π π
Anyway, weβll see what next, thigh is still whinging at me so not making plans other than to see how the thigh feels tomorrow and then the next day and so on. It was great to get back out though. Itβs a start. π
