Change things up pancakes! πŸ˜†

Well that’s a first for me! I hate change I like to know where I am and what I’m doing but tonight I decided the only way forward in this muggy weather was to change my route - so I nervously set off along the river remembering that after the initial gravel there was a solid path up to the styal - 15 mins there 15 mins back - oh how wrong I was! Took me 5 mins to get to the styal which meant I had to run through baked fields of cows and sheep tree roots and rocks! I spent most of my time swallowing flies and trying not to break my ankle! But it was definitely cooler at 25 degrees and I managed to run for 30mins having narrowly missed being floored by an over friendly enthusiastic and very beautiful Doberman with massive paws! πŸ˜‚ it’s a good job I love dogs! I did lose a bit in distance as I tried not to break anything but I thoroughly enjoyed it and recovered very quickly - I’m well chuffed! I thought my running was doomed after this heatwave πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ But pancakes runs on! (And cycles! πŸš΄πŸ»β€β™€οΈ)

Well done. Some things are true - change is as good as a rest πŸ˜„. And all that extra protein along the way! πŸ‘

Well done Pancakes πŸ™Œ You're doing great 😊 I'm finding this muggy weather is wiping me out, should have run this evening but had a nap instead 😱 Rarely do that so putting it down to disturbed humid nights ~ making a promise on here that I'm up and out early tomorrow before work. There, I have to do it now πŸ˜¬πŸ™„
