Hi all I’ve joined a complete beginners running group and also started c25k. So last week I did my first group Tuesday, then w1r1 Thurs and W1r2 on Sun. Will go to group again tomorrow, should I do W1r3 Thurs and just accept the c25k will take longer for me to get through as I will only fit in 2 runs per week from the app...or should I do the group plus 2 of the runs from each week and miss the 3rd one?? Looking for advice as I’m pretty new to all this. Thanks :)

Had to read that question several times, yes, it's a bit complicated for you, you can do C25K by spreading each week a bit longer, perhaps two weeks and still be with your running group. Although C25K runs over 9 weeks, anyone can extend it a bit longer, get the best of both worlds, no hurry is necessary, take it nice and steady.

On reflection it would make sense to do the runs as per the plan, doesn't matter that it will take longer. My reasoning being, that as you get further into the course some weeks have 3 different runs and they are all designed to increase your stamina and strength. Take your time, and enjoy the experience. Good luck with it 🌻

Thank-you for the advice, W1R3 tomorrow. Last nights group was certainly tougher than week 1 😀

Yes running groups are tough. I joined my local running club. I go out with them once a week and run with the new runners slow pace group - it's not what I call a slow pace and they run for nearly an hour 😱! We do stop and get our breath back, and definitely walk up hills 😀. However, it's fun - think I must be a bit mad 🙃
