W4R2 in the bag....didn't overly struggle but kept a slow pace.
Waiting for "arch support thingies" (to stuff inside runners) to help me cope with pain in left foot. Right foot feels fine.

Arch support insoles made a big difference for me, particularly in my right ankle. They did feel a bit weird to begin with though.
There was some rubbing under my arches and the outside of my feet felt squashed against the side of my shoes but they got better after a couple of runs and feel really comfortable now.
Thank you for the insight. I don't know anyone else who suffers from foot pain like I do.....I'm hoping that the insoles help. But have noted it might take a few runs before I feel the benefit.
Your advice helped me keep the faith!!! Once I REPLACED original insoles with arch-support insoles (after I inserted them ON TOP OF original insoles and ran in agony....like total numpty!!!!), I really am beginning to feel the difference now.....thank you muchly!!! π
Well done Hotheels!! Youβre doing so well! β€οΈ
Absolutely pissing it down outside π donβt want to go out!!!
Could you collect some in a bucket and send it down to Berkshire, not had a drop of rain for a month
Strangely I canβt wait to run in the rain (why did I say that - winter will be here before we know it! π©)
Ever since I started C25K over 6 weeks ago, itβs been dry and warm/hot. My yellow Lab, who accompanies me, is the same colour as the grass I run on! π³
Itβs just stopped but Iβve sat down now!!!
Nope still raining. Going to have to be tomorrow I think π
Woohoo! Well done on your run! Youβre on a roll! ππ
Keep enjoying it and keep reporting back. πββοΈπββοΈππ»
Well done for getting through it, I know you were concerned, #superheels
Well done Hotheels ~ you're doing great!! ππ
I had to stop between W3 and W4 for a weeks rest because of Achilles tendon pain in my left ankle.
Bought some inserts for my trainers which I have to admit were pure magic.
Even though I still have pain when i walk in my bare feet, absolutely no pain at all with inserts in trainers. Can run no problem now into W7. πΊπΊ
Ah....that is encouraging to know!! I'll see how my inserts work....and if no good,I'll be coming to you for recommendations!!! π
Hi John...
Just read your reply, I suffer with Achilles pain in both heels. I had gait analysis and new trainers and they have made a positive difference. But did w4r1 yesterday and really struggled again with both heels. Do you think these inserts would help? Where so no get them from?
Many thanks Sarah
