I’m so so so happy to have graduated Couch to 5K. I have kept up lurking on this forum and I never truly believed that I would be a person to be posting something like this.
I did every run with my little dog Daisy (she’s only 1 and we rescued her last October) so everyone - dogs are amazing for running cause they keep ya going!
And I live in an extremely hilly area so it’s been... intense. I haven’t reached 5K in 30 minutes yet but I’m so proud of myself. And I’m proud of anyone else doing Couch to 5k.
You can do it! Go slow, go steady, do anything to make sure you don’t stop

To add, I also run with my dog! A lovely companion to share my time with. My husband is far too fit to run with - I’d literally be left like a 🐌 in the dust! 😅
I have two dogs one’s a black border collie and she loves to run, but it’s just not possible in this weather I think she gets jealous of the other! But in the winter the little one can barely go outside so I suppose they’re equal x
Congratulations bronwynr good to see another lurker come out of the shadows! Hope you continue to run and reap the benefits of all your hard work so fsr, and certainly don't envy you or anyone else who has to do this in hilly terrain
Thank you!! The hills really are something where I live. At the beginning I could try and time my walks to be up the hills, but now I’m just powering through and really working my calves!
