So pleased with myself.

Had an amazing long weekend in London and found that it was really too hot for me to run. Arrived home late last night and decided to run this morning.

Since my graduation run and 5 k park run every time I have run I have only ever seemed to be clocking up 4 k after my warm up walk. This was really getting to me even though I was running 3 or 4 times a week.

So this morning I changed my run route ever so slightly by walking further out before starting my run .

I actually ran for over 5 k 5.35.

Time dead on 40 minutes.

Really happy with everything xx

Great stuff DC 😀 Morning runs are definitely the way to go, if “real life” commitments allow!

Well done - I might try that as I need to extend my distance and I am more of a shuffler than a runner but I keep going for 30 minutes and I possibly need to be able to do 40 mins to meet the 5K distance.
