Reunited with missing mojo!

Seemed to have lost a little bit of motivation lately after a longish run which wasn't much fun, have done a few more 6 k runs since and seemed to be getting slower, nearly all over 7 min/k and some 8mins/k , my swimming and cycling seemed to be improving so the slower running was a bit disappointing. Have done no runs since Tuesday, as had a really busy week and missed my swimming on Friday as was working from 7am til midnight and back in at 7.30 am yesterday( excuses..). .Anyway got myself out this morning wearing a vest top and shorts, and after having some porridge with linseeds, sesame seeds ,sunflower seeds , chopped nuts( and double cream!) and had some music playing (placebo and muse...) ,tried a new route aiming for 5 k, 6 if I felt ok and ended up doing my longest ever run of 8km in 54 minutes. Really enjoyed it and can't decide whether it was improved because of letting the bingo wings see the sun(unheard of for me!) or the weird porridge mix, or the music! Whichever, I am glad my mojo has returned and for everyone having a tough run or losing motivation keep going it gets better again!
