So I finished week 4 on a high...and with a twinge
I was really pleased with my final week 4 run. Ive found my rhythum and my breathing has really improved and I completed the final run 3 mins faster than I did the first run of the week. This was Saturday. By Sunday morning the twinge had turned into actual pain and I was limping.
I was due to start week 5 today but have had to postpone this...and I don't know how long for as still in a lot of pain. I did 20 mins on the rower but the inside of the garage is nothing compared to the beautiful autumn day we've just had.
Is there any advice anyone can give me to speed up this recovery?? I'm desperate!!!

have you tried elevating and ice? I know you're anxious to move on but an extra day or two to recover may be what you need. I hope you feel better soon! Gayle
Just a thought...I suffered from achilles tendon pain for years....chronic and acute pain....nothing my GP suggested worked and I was told I would just have to live with it. By chance I mentioned it to my osteopath who was treating me for back pain. She said could she have a go at them....I agreed......after 3 treatments...no more achilles tendon pain. That was several years ago and it has never returned. Might be worth a try if it doesn't clear up.
