Good Luck Vicky. I redid W1R3 last week and I'm glad I stuck with it. I think just making the effort to try again and not give up is the motivation bit. Once you're out there, you'll be happy that you made the effort.
Just make sure that you are well enough as I can't see the point doing it if you know you're not up to it yet.
Thanks. I'm hoping I'll feel a bit more refreshed getting some air in my lungs. Thankfully it's not raining. Once I'm out if I don't feel up to it I'll just head home. I stay in my area so only ever a 5 minute walk away from home
Hi Hun. Still full of cold but not as bad thank you. I managed my run tonight & although it blummin hurt I did it & enjoyed it so onwards & upwards!! How are you getting on?
Well done on your run tonight, makes it harder when you are not feeling well. I had a lazy day today, bad headache. Luckily it was my rest day, tomorrow will be run 2 of week 8, I am hoping it will be at good as my last run.
Awww poor you. Headaches are the worse. Yeah I enjoyed it. Enjoy your run tomorrow can't wait till I'm at W8 lol seems a million miles away. Let me know how you get on x
Hi, Run 2 was a success, looking forward to run 3 on Friday, then I will start Week 9 on Sunday. I have been looking for some new running gear which I will treat myself to when I graduate.
Hopped on the scales on Monday, I now weigh 10 stone 13 lbs, so just over a stone to lose before I reach my first goal.
Overall, I am feeling very pleased with myself for being so disciplined and sticking with it.
That's fantastic well done, you must feel amazing!!!
I wish I could lose some weight, I'm just totally stuck & demotivated at the minute. Do you have a food diary or anything you could share with me just to see what you're doing?
Basically doing 5:2 diet. Smaller portions of meat, loads of veg, swapped white bread for wholemeal, home made soup etc. Not craving the sweet things now, which makes it so much easier. Gave up alcohol until Easter, and basically choosing healthier options.
What type of foods are you eating at the moment?, do you tend to snack? Perhaps you'll feel better once you have got rid of your cold. Stay positive, you can do it, just focus on enjoying your running, and looking forward to your holiday.
Roll on the Spring, lighter evenings, warmer weather and hopefully sunnier days to look forward to. Good luck with your running xx
Sometimes you hit a plateau, are you going to stick with Weight Watchers?
Thankfully I am running on a treadmill, so no-one sees me. It's in the conservatory which is south facing, so I will have to run thing in the summer as it gets extremely hot.
