I canβt believe it!!! 30 years of chronic pain, I canβt believe that in just 9 weeks I can run for 2.5 miles, 30 mins. This has transformed my physical and mental health and I canβt tell you how liberated I feel. For anyone who doubts, have faith in the programme, but more importantly yourself. Thanks for all the encouragement and support from everyone on here, all heroes. Going to cry now, right after I nurse the wasp sting on the back of my calf, which is swelling up a treat. Bastard wasp. πππ»ββοΈ

Yes Dralimc, trying to run faster than a wasp, mmm, not sure about that, I have only been stung twice by a wasp in my 72 years, the first time I was on holiday and immediately went to the casualty department of the local hospital, the second time it was at the back of my neck and did not go to hospital, that mark lasted 6 years, I advise anyone that is stung by a bee or wasp to go to A&E immediately, I certainly will if I am stung ever again.
Gosh really? Not been stung for @40 years. The heat has gone out of it, but still swollen. An odd thing to happen on a run. Nursing it with ice at the mo. π
Yaaaay Dralimic! Congratulations to you! Aaah youve done absolutely brilliantly! So pleased about how it has changed things for you! Well done graduate!! ππ½ππ½ππ½ππβ€οΈ
Very well done and enjoy your celebrations.ππ₯π₯πββοΈπ₯
Hope that wasp bite is OK and you are not allergic.π€.Plenty remedies for home treatment including initially ice. If redness or swelling does not disappear quickly get it seen to.
Thank you so much! I wondered where my motivation would come from once Iβd finished. No fear, feel so great (excepting sting) that I just want to go out now! Looking forward to making my way to 5k now. πππ»ββοΈπ
