W7R3 - getting faster

Really I just can’t believe at my age I could run for longer and faster than ever... hopefully all this running will help reduce that spare tyre sometime soon?

Well done!

The spare tyre will shift if you keep running but also cut the calories you eat. Unfortunately the calories burned in a run aren’t huge compared to what we eat.

Only if you are linking this with healthy eating :)

Very well done you!

On the 21 May, I ran W5R3, that is the 20-minute run, according to my app my pace was 08.40/km and burned 167 calories. I graduated exactly three weeks ago today, however, this morning because of the heat I decided just to run for only 20 minutes rather than 30, my pace today was 06.45/km and burned 225 calories. I like your description of 'spare tyre', I think most people, especially men have that, some women as well.

I guess the trick is to spend more time running and less time enjoying tasty 😋 treats!

I agree with you Dave about that, I am 10st 5lbs, I think I can afford a few tasty treats now and again, at 11.30am today (10/7) I have a free voucher from Burger King, going there for a small meal.

Well done Dave! You’re doing brilliantly! Yes some of us ladies do have a stubborn spare tyre too! Working on running it out of the vicinity! Hopefully, it shall surrender! 😁❤️
