Hi guys although I’m a newbie on the forum I’m actually away to do w5r2 either tomorrow morning or Wednesday. Feeling really apprehensive about the 20minuter (w5r3) 😬 not sure how I’ll cope with that one. I find I run better if I get up in the morning & go out before work, husband not overly thrilled with this as it means me getting up around 5.30/6am but between work, 3kids & this heat it’s working for me. Anyway just wanted to share & say a wee hello 🙋🏻‍♀️

Hello! I’m at the same stage as you and completed W5R1 this morning. I’ll do R2 on Wednesday and R3, the biggie, on Friday! I must say I’m looking forward to it very much.

I’m going to follow the advice of all the wise ones on here and take it slooooow.

Good luck with yours! 😀🏃‍♀️

Welcome. Good plan with the early starts - it’s the only way in this heat.

Don’t worry about run 3. As cheekychipmunks says, slow and steady is the answer.

Welcome to this brilliant forum! It’s natural to be apprehensive ! However you will manage it and more! So good luck and well done for finding us.

Slow and steady that’s the name of the game 😀😀🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Huge well done you... slow and steady... each run following the one before... trust the plan ad believe in yourself!

Thank you guys, feeling very welcome. Think it’s just the length of time of that run that’s making me feel a wee bit worried about it. Can run it on a treadmill but outside it’s totally different.
