I'm new to this forum..... I'm on week 7 and just completed first run .... I found myself almost floating along, not feeling my legs or any other part of my body, it was beautiful has anybody else had this experience? I find running every two days is better than every other day ax it helps to heal an Achilles problem... Any advice on Achilles pain?? THANKYOU !

Yay! Well done. When you run unconsciously it is some big deal! You’ve hit your stride. So big up to you 💪👍😃🏃‍♀️ Fun int it 😁

It’s all in the Achilles Keep running slowly and taking your rest days. Strength in your feet and legs builds and the problem should ease. This takes time of course You can do strengthening work at home or gym Walk more! I walk everywhere now 👍

Calf lifts with a heeldrop - off a stair or step - done regularly. Footlifts, lunges. I put a smear of Vaseline on my heels pre run to minimise any rubbing. I have several pairs of shoes with varying heel heights which I wear in turn

Hopefully, if you keep going steady you’ll lose the niggle 🙂
