Yay!! I’ve just completed W9R3. Wasn’t my best or my most comfy but I’m very pleased with myself for sticking at it.
I’d really like to thank everyone for their insights re going slow and slower still and all the other nuggets of wisdom on this site. I’ve often returned to it to inspire or comfort me!
This is only my 2nd post - tho I’ve drafted many more in my head during my final 5min warm downs!! Have done most of the runs minus dog as she’s been quite unwell for a while but my new shoes have been fab and I’m marginally less embarrassed now when I see someone I know when I’m out running!
I genuinely didn’t really think I’d ever get to the end having struggled a good deal in weeks2 and 3 - but re-doing them helped enormously and now - hey - I think I’m a graduate!!
Must switch to packing for a welcome reward as we’re off to the Norfolk coast for a short break to celebrate another milestone... 25th anniversary. So my next run will be on a beach. Can’t wait.....
