Something magic happened

Something magic happened last week. I went running and didn't want to stop. Everything just clicked into place, breathing, rhythm, you name it, I was like Forrest Gump and couldn't stop, my legs just kept on going. Since then I have not been able to stop, every run has just been fantastic. I can't begin to describe the buzz I got! I'll never do a marathon, or achieve fantastic times(I am a slow plodder!) but I feel that I have got over some sort of running hurdle, really beginning to feel I could do 10k. (Will take me 1.5 hours, but who cares, I'll never be Mo Farrar!).

Tessie - inspirational post.

May I ask how long it is since you graduated (not that we are all the same)?

Brilliant

Just wish I could feel like that as the longer it has gone on the more it has confirmed I just don't like running

I can't wait to finish and then I can change my running shoes for cycling shoe and get back on my bike

that is brilliant, I did a personal best last Wednesday when I about 7.5 k I only stopped because I was home and dinner was ready!, I hope to do even better tomorrow in the great south run. I hope I get what you've got..

Well done, what a great feeling that is!

Fab, what a feeling! And sometimes (in fact most times, in my case) it happens on the days you're feeling less than enthusiastic about getting out there. It certainly makes it worthwhile.

Brilliant isn't it!! I know exactly what you mean; you can just carry on forever, or that's how it feels. If you're running like this 10K is definitely within your grasp.

What a smashing post Tessie, well done you, its a truly wonderful feeling when you get that running buzz and you know when that happens you really relax into your stride which enables you to just keep on going. Lovely post :)
