Try not to run too fast!

Completed week 9 run 2 this morning so only one to go! Can't quite believe I am at this point😨 but I am and it was quite a nice run this morning apart from the heat and a teenager shouting out " try not to run too fast" whilst laughing AND she was with her parents! But at this point in the programme I don't care about anyone else and the confidence the programme has brought me feels damn good! Happy running to you all!!!

Well done with the penultimate run. Great to see you on the final lap. When are you planning to do the last one?

Teenagers? “Quick, employ them while they know everything.” Well done for paying the comment the attention it deserved.

Focus on the last run but start thinking about where you are heading next and we’ll all try to help x

Thanks Jay. I am actually a bit worried about finishing the programme as I like the planned 3 times a week run with Sarah telling me how long to run for! At the moment my first goal after graduation is to get to 5k as at the moment I'm about 4.3k for the 30 minutes and other than that Im not sure! I do definitely want to keep running and am worried without the structure of the programme it might all go a bit pear shaped like some of my fitness attempts in the past!!!

You can follow the same discipline if you choose to. Two runs of 30 using the app then a “bigger run” towards 5k? 33 mins first week, 36 the second and I reckon you’ll be there.

Well Done Teddy22 I continued to listen to Jo Whiley for a few weeks to consolidate before I let her go to look after the newbies. Jay66UK’s system is a good one to get to 5k. But enjoy final run first and don’t forget to post a graduation photo. 👏

Never ever worry what others might say or think about you 😀 I’m sure it’s just jealousy deep down. 😊

You’re doing this for you and you’ve achieved so much to get this far 🙂

We’ll all be cheering you on to the finishing line 🏁🍾🥂👏👏👏👏
