I've been dithering about getting a Runner's Watch. It's tech, and I'm a techy, so it was meant 'to be'. But there are so many to choose from. But in the end I just had to!
Decided on a Garmin Forerunner 235. Should come middle of next week. So now I have to keep going, I'm invested.

Don't be alarmed by Ripcurlrana71 my friend. "Ripcurl and Garmin" is our equivalent of "Piggy and Truffle". She is obsessive about hers. But it's done wonders for her...
Wow, looks cool! I’m sure you’ll love it when it arrives, and it should look great with that cassock.😎 As a non-techie, I’ll stay content with my Fitbit (it matches a hospital exercise test on heartrate, so I’m happy with that!)
My Graduation present isn’t going to look as impressive - but I decided I really did want a C25k graduation T-shirt! (I ordered it optimistically after W9R2...) Having been disappointed to find no one else at the local Parkrun seems to list their club as NHS C25k, when it arrives I’m going to run my Parkruns in it with pride! (Who needs a swanky local running club vest!) 😃🏃♀️🏃♂️❤️
Hey, that's a great idea! I might do that too. The difficulty is to decide to get one that fits me now, or one that I hope will be right when I get rid of the beer-belly.
More convenient for me - and it records and displays heart rate. The only way I found of measuring heart rate on the phone was not something that I can do while running.
