No, don't dread week five - look forward to how amazing you are going to feel at the end of it! Just trust the plan and you'll be absolutely fine :D

Ah, week 5. The thing is, every step of every run you’ve done so far has been preparing you for W5.

When you reach “the long run” you will be ready for it. You probably won’t believe it, maybe even part way through the run, but you can do it if you choose to believe you can.

Enjoy it. In a couple of weeks you will look back and wonder why you were concerned.

I’ll be joining you on W5 as I too completed W4 this morning. I can’t wait to tackle it - especially R3!

I was had the same trepidation of the first ‘big’ run but the plan gears you up for it and you’ll be amazed at how far your body has come in a short space of time.

At this point it’s all in your head your body can do it, just keep going when your head gives you silly excuses to stop and you’ll be out the other side and chuffed with yourself.

I completed w5r1 yesterday and felt AMAZING afterward. (Even wrote a post about it too!) The next run tomorrow before work is making me doubt myself a little, but I have faith in the programme and myself and if I can do it, you can too!

I'm about to start W5, although "week" is a bit of a loose term at the moment, as I'm sometimes having to leave 2 days between runs to avoid going out in the full heat.

Week 5 was my favourite and easiest. And that was after almost quitting at week 4 I struggled so much. Believe me, you’ll feel like you’re flying....😊

I just completed week4 this morning and feeling the same, I can't see myself running 20 mins straight but have done ok up until now, I think we have to believe in the programme and just do the best we can, the way I look at it is, I couldn't run at all a few weeks ago and I can always repeat the previous week if I find it too much.

Week 5 is when you really feel like you're a runner. I much prefer running without walks. Just take it slow and steady and you will do it!! And slower still if you need to !

Good plan. It's not a race. You just need to run for 20 mins. Slow and steady...!🐢🐌
