That’s W4 in the bag, ended up with 5 runs to get it finished 2 before and 3 after my trip up home. The last 5 mins did seem like forever still! I did try a podcast on Friday and it did make the time pass

Well done. Bet you feel better now it's done. The last five minutes may have been hard but you didn't give up!!!! Good luck moving forward 👍

Thank you! Yes I do feel better for doing it.

I had intended to run yesterday but came home starving after running around doing jobs, visiting my mum and then battling with the panic buyers at the supermarket to do a food shop and before I knew it I’d started cooking! 🙄😖 completely slipped my mind! Oops!

Haha. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Don't beat yourself up. It's done now👍

It's kinda weird doing the plan again, I did it and then just kinda stopped the whole running thing.

This time out it's sunk it's teeth into me 😁

Yes I did it, then stopped - I think I put too much pressure on myself. I joined a club and felt too slow, then stopped going, because I hated being last.

I tried loads to speed up, so didn’t enjoy any of it.

I think this time i need to not care about the numbers and just keep trotting along - or keep going longer before I worry about speed. Anything is faster than nothing. It’s really hard starting again after 5 months out - may as well have never ran before!

Great job! Took me 6 runs to get through week 4 - it’s a big jump. Welcome to week 5! I’ve only done one of the w5 runs so far (was scheduled to go today, but it poured rain all day and I wasn’t feeling motivated enough to do my first 8 minute run on the treadmill) so we are somewhat in it together. Good luck!

Yes the treadmill does have the ability to slow time down! Much prefer watching the dogs in the park or nosing in peoples front gardens 😂

Good for you! I'm finding the transition from 3 to 4 very hard so have invented my own level three and a half (4 times 3mins) and am trying to push gradually up from this. So far can do 3 times 3 mins and 1 x 5min.) All very slow but better than nothing!

Good idea - if it moves you forward it can’t be a bad idea
