W7R1 I did it!

This definitely went better than W6R3. I waited until it was a bit cooler, although I felt pretty exhausted (hadn’t even really done anything!)

However, when I stopped for my cool down walk my calves started really aching. I don’t think I’ve pulled anything yet, but I think I was close.

I went to the gym earlier and did 10 minutes on the cross trainer, so I’m not sure if that maybe did something? Although I doubt it.

I took it slow and steady but maybe I just didn’t give myself enough rest. I never experienced this with the earlier runs.

Any advice?

It’s been really hot! Have you been doing you’re stretches and drinking plenty of water? I’m not the expert myself, but I make sure I do that as they say that it keeps the muscles from stiffening up. That and go slower if needs be. Good on you for finishing! Well done! I’m sure you’ll be fine for next run! ❤️
