I'm with you on this one Ample! Never have got on with running on fields (off road). Give me nice smooth tarmac over lumpy, bumpy ground any day.
Done my whole nine weeks on paths and roads and I am carrying on with that since graduating, including parkruns. I would imagine that with all the dry weather we've had over the past few weeks, the ground is as hard as the roads anyway?!
Listening to app via head phones ! With iPhone.Sometimes I may be bit faster than app use my watch to check time ! Wellness tracker on phone gives me updates.
Going to go out early tomorrow for my 2nd session - want to see if I'm a morning or evening runner 😊
