Is this feeling normal....Week 8 Run1

So after getting to W 6 last year and having to quit due to a knee injury I'm back on the C25K challenge. I completed W8R1 today and am knackered, a real struggle, my legs are like jelly. I am amazed that I ran for 28 minutes but honestly im still waiting to feel the "running bug". I dread each run.....is this normal!?!? I was hoping by now I'd enjoy running or at least not fear it so much. Reading people's posts has really kept me motivated........so is it normal to still dislike running at this stage???

When you run can you hold a clear ungasping conversation?

I would reckon not, in which case you are going too fast.

The easy conversational pace is described in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Slowing down will make your running more enjoyable and less exhausting.

Maybe you need longer between runs.

It should be fun, not torture, otherwise you will not persist.
