Tough one this morning. These morning runs don’t suit me at all. Middle third was again really hard going. For the first time, I very, very nearly stopped....

Bagged it, though. Five left.......

Really well done Scoobysghost. I wish I could do morning runs - but I know at the moment there is absolutely no chance. Evenings are working for me at the moment between 20:30 and 21:00 to get out there - won't work for everyone but it does for me at the moment.

I did W8R2 last night and it was 'easier' than R1 - I found the last 10mins hard going.

The important thing - you nearly gave up - but didn't. You are smashing it well done!

Thanks for that. Not exactly smashing it though, seem to be getting gradually slower, but still chuffed I’ve not stopped.

Good luck with your next run....

I have an exaggerated slo-mo run/boxer bounce I do when tired. It's totally ridiculous and I'd be mortified if any 'real' runner saw me but like you say, it's Not Stopping.

Well done.

“Nearly stopping” is “not stopping but having the mental challenge and winning”. Much better for building your future capabilities than a boring old easy run 😉

Don’t quit. just stop, let your breathing normalise then press on. Go nice and steady. No hurry 🙂👍

Having to stop for a breather if you need to is fine. 🙂
