Almost there and the best run yet Slowed it down a bit and it was much more comfortable, 5.6km in 28 minutes. I think my body is really starting to get use to running again now, legs are feeling strong and can't wait for run 2, but I can't be too eager, that's where I have gone wrong in the past, too much too soon, the rest days are so important.
Perfect weather here this morning as well, cloudy, about 14 centigrade and still. Hope everyone has a great run today!
Cheers!
Blimey!! There are a lot of people here who would kill for split times like that.

Wowsa!! Well done!!
Ha ha! Thanks sallenson, I'll make sure I steer clear of your neck of the woods though...
Wise move
Seriously motoring there tho. First KM up a bit a hill too? Kudos.
Please tell me you're young and fit and not a retired gentle(wo)man who's taking time out from brass-rubbing and flower arranging tho
I am a young, in mind, 48 year old bloke, trying to regain some of his youth! Problem is I know that injury will strike me down at some point.
We've all said it about a gazillions times. Keep it slow and steady. You're clearly not in any danger of not finishing the programme. Just don't bust anything when you've finished and are onto longer runs.
I know, dead tempting to do. But the only thing that's likely to put you on the IC is over-training.
Promise you won't?
You doing onto the 10K Big School after this?
That was me trying to slow down today... I am not very good at it! I just get into a natural rhythm I have always had since I was young. I know you are right though, and I really want to finish C25K healthy as I do intend to move onto training for 10K, but it all depends on the body...
Which is pretty much under your control... Naturally gifted runners (and you're clearly one) need to take care of the machinery
Thanks for the confidence boost, I will definitely try to heed your advice. This forum is great for giving you a boost!
The programme's great, but here is where the heart and soul and magic happens. Use it, my friend
