I never considered myself to unfit as such, I go to the gym do HIIT and weight sessions and take the dog out couple of times a day normally around 40 to 60 mins, BUT I but I do consider myself cardio challenged and hated not being able to run for any length of time even though I don’t actually like running. Until now, I actually feel excited, is that the right word? , at being able to have these goals set and achieve them.
Great run today on my holibobs in Lanzarote, have to go out early mostly so no one can see me and also it gets warm quickly here, 3 runs this week done, so glad I brought my gear with me, finding good music helps and this community is a massive help and inspiration.
Slow and steady I think for week 5 run 3 , fingers crossed.

Well done, contemplating whether to take a day off or go straight into run 3 tomorrow whilst I’m still on hols as fly back on Friday then time becomes a bit of a challenge, are you having a rest day?
Yes, that's a tricky one, unless you get up REALLY early before your flight. I'll follow the plan and have a rest day. Tempting to just go out and do with though! Well done so far, can't believe I actually look forward to my next run. Bring it on!!
Timanfaya - great place! Well done getting your runs in while on holiday I'm due to graduate the week before I go on holiday to Austria with lots of walking planned so not sure what to do yet...!
My daughters and I had a girly holiday in Playa Blanca in February, and we’re planning our next one! Now I’m a ‘runner’, I look forward to going out in the mornings!
