Looking to start week 5, but can't decide whether to run early morning or late evening. Pros and cons?

Too darn hot
hi. I've done a few early morning ones, and around 6.30pm (before the weather hotted up!) I like the morning as - cooler, gets it done before starting my day. I've thought about late evening but its fitting it around meal times that I maybe difficult for me. good to hear other folks thoughts.... good luck
Pros of the morning: it is usually cooler than anytime until very late evening; you have a sense of satisfaction all day; you clear your head; it’s ticked off the list of things to do.
Cons of the morning: getting up even earlier.
Pros of the evening: “lie in” (relatively speaking); something to look forward to.
Cons of the evening: hot; tired; life might happen and prevent it.
My choice is morning whenever possible.
I’m W7R3 - should have run 25 mins but only managed 20 - too hot even at 8am. Glad to have done what I did and can’t wait for it to cool down 😂
I have only ever gone early morning.
Less people, less traffic. In this weather, much cooler.
All day to feel impressed with yourself .🤩🤩
Early morning ! 😎
I love evening runs. I’ve returned at eleven pm, after a local run I think it’s whatever fits in with your itinerary 🙂
Another fan of the early morning. Leaves me feeling energised through the day. I hate waking up early but I find reminding myself that i never regret going but I do regret not going. If I leave it until the evening then there is always the chance it might not happen because of, well... Life.
Just back from 5.1, my first 6.00 am run. Went well, but now I am that much closer to scary 5.3. Any tips, other than don't go too fast? I always run the same exactly 4k door to door route, running solo, no music, no Laura, just me and a wrist watch. Then I run the app on my return. Sorry Laura, nothing personal. There must be others who do this, no distractions, no interruptions, it's a personal battle. Or am I the only one?
