Have now had 2 “practices” at this run. 1st last Sunday, accidentally stopped the app so had no idea how long I’d, luckily had also started Strava at the same time! Ran for 21.46 with a very steep incline. Then was unable, due to circumstances to run again until this morning, found it very hard, had 2, 10 second walking breaks and had to stop at 22 mins ☹️. A week with no runs was not helpful, will complete this run legitimately, running all the way through before moving to week 7.
I can do this!

Of course you can! Just go out and forget about the program for one run. Instead, concentrate on enjoying your run. Run however slow or fast you want, and however long or short. Even if it will be only 10 or 15 minutes run. Then, go out again and maybe try a little bit flatter route? Or just look the demon straight into th eyes and do it! You can do it and you will! I believe in you!
I’ve been really hung up on doing each run “perfectly” but have realised it doesn’t matter, I’ll move on when I feel ready. The fact that I can run 15 mins straight is a big achievement for someone who hasn’t exercised for 30yrs. The support on here is fab x
