I have just run 6k! 😃

I set out intending to do a really slow plod with nobody telling me how long I’d run for and to just enjoy myself.

Off I trotted with Metallica, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Ed Sheeran! It was overcast with a lovely breeze. The Zombies were chasing me but that was my task to act as a decoy and I plodded on and on.

When I eventually wrestled my phone out of my running belt to see how far I had gone I had done 6k! Best run to date!

Oh I hope I'll be posting soon Bridget. I attempted a 5.5km last night but I stopped after 3km with calf pain. I don't think it's anything too serious but I'm going to the physio tonight. I usually run through injuries which is a disaster so I'm impressed with my sensibleness. Although I'm dying to get on with my 8km program.

And not even looking at your phone until you have completed your run! I still run with mine in my hand and look at it t various times attempting various bits of mental calculations. Also as I am repeating some routes I have a fair idea how far I have gone. What a lovely surprise for you to see 6k! Well done you! So pleased that you are enjoying it. Thank you 😊 I ran at 10 o’clock in the morning and it was really cloudy with a lovely breeze! I ran a completely different route to my normal one and got lost and was really pleased when I found somewhere I recognised .. I have no sense of direction at all 😬😬 I do sometimes look at my phone when I’m running willing the numbers to move round 🤣🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ I hope you’re still enjoying your lovely scenic runs 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

It really was a good run! I’ve done 2 Zombie runs so far and they are really good fun they are different every time which is good for me as I have a small attention span 🤣🤣 the one I use is zombies run 🧟‍♀️
