So, we don’t compare ourselves to each other here. My battle is with me, yours is with you.
I’ve done a spreadsheet of the runs since W9R1 (which is when I realised how to have a multi-stage workout and separate the running from the walking).
First half run today was 8mim/k exactly - my fastest ever - and my second half pace was almost a full minute faster than usual. And my average heart rate continues to drop.
Edit: I realise I’ve left off my run from Saturday! Doh!!

Wow Jay, I thought I was bad! Even the humidity too
I have a similar, but simpler spreadsheet which I used for all my C25k runs, but have stopped using it since graduating. I tracked distance, total time, running time, pace, ave/max heart rate, etc.
It is great to see how we’ve improved though - occurred to me just yesterday after my intervals session - what I viewed as a very short run (23 minutes) was in fact longer than I’d ever run just a few weeks ago!
That is great! I am not sure how to do that on a computer, and if I did it would take me for ever. However I do keep a paper chart showing the same things (except the weather). It is really nice to see the slow changes happen, very motivating!
Where are the columns for number of dog walkers, courting couples, people who look a bit odd, flies caught in teeth etc? Come back when you’ve got it finished! 😂😂
Love this! If I didn't have 2 trackers on the go, 5 if you count background apps that still record activity 😳, I would definitely do this. I thought I was the only one addicted to numbers. It's refreshing to see I'm not.
My OH said the other day, you used to be cool, but now you're some forum-ite running addict. 🤔
I just replied, I think you'll find I was never cool!!! 🤓
